Colocation (or colo) refers to locating (or hosting) your own equipment in a datacentre such as ours. The benefits of doing this is that you do not have to worry about the power or network connectivity of your equipment, just bring us your servers (or other infrastructure) and house it in our datacentre.

In colocation, overages typically refer to going over your allocated power or bandwidth allocation. If this happens, we will contact you to discuss options, we will not disconnect you. We monitor both power and bandwidth usage and we will contact you if you go over your allocated plan. We have options to increase power by the 0.1A and bandwidth by the TB.

Sure, no problem, we'll even throw in a cup of tea/coffee and some biscuits! It will need to be arranged in advance and you'll need to bring photographic ID. Just get in touch with us and request a datacentre tour and we'll confirm availability.

Absolutely, you can arrange to send it directly to the datacentre at any time or you can bring it yourself. Before sending it, please let us know and also arrange your service to be activated so that as soon as we receive it, we can get it racked and connected for you. You may want to preconfigure it so that we can access it (if required) in case there are any issues connecting it up (such as mistakes entering IP addresses, etc).

Colocation services are provisioned "same working day" which means that if you order a colocation package, we'll provision it the same working day (if received overnight UK time we'll provision it next working day). This means that we'll be ready to accept your equipment straight away. If you have any special requirements, please contact us before purchasing any packages.
